my favorite lock to pick is the old style master locks that has the combination on the bottom. I grew up with these locks everywhere around me and who knew they were so simple to open. I dont know the specific model of that kind of master lock.sorry.
Pick it and Flick it..On to the next hole.

For me it's actually two locks right now.

One is an Ilco that was pinned (in package) with a Yale keyway. It's scary easy to pick. I can normally get in 4-5 seconds max.

The other is a Dexter mortise cylinder that is giving me fits right now. I'm finding to to be good practice even though I want to chuck it across the room sometimes.

Hmmmm, right now i'd say that my most favorite lock to pick is definitely going to be the American 5200 padlock. Hopefully that will change when i get home though!

My favorite lock is any lock that demands days of dedication to and the eventual unlocking without destructive means.

Currently, my fav lock for speed picking is a Mater #532 (~15 sec)
Always looking for the next best lock; never disappointed!

I dont really have a favourite, but alot of the safe locks that survived WW2 are awesome. Right now im looking for a baramah lock and i guess that'll keep me bussie for like half a year or something. So if anything, id say most early bramah locks.

A weird German Lock that the brand has worn off of. Six pins, 3 mushroom, 3 spool. Not very difficult, but no matter how I pin it I always feel every slight movement in it. It's almost an extension of my fingers.

My current favorite is the new Kwikset (weiser) smart key.

The shop picked one up last night from the local H.D., and I played with it for a couple hours last night, and have been messing with it for most of today.

Haven't picked it yet- none of us have (at our shop)- but hopefully I'll figure a method here soon.

I can already envision several scenarios of repair calls based on this current design, so hopefully we won't have to pull out the drill (or safe-deposit lock puller) each time.

Do you have the SKU for these? I've been trying to find them at Home Depot online and at my local store and I am not having any luck so far.
