Ya dude, I once tried to teach my brother how to lockpick. It is this crappy master lock knockoff that just needs a little jiggle of an L rake. And like he tried, but he was jiggling the lock and the pick, and like idk what it is about my brother but he like just doesn't have the dexterity for simple lockpicking. But is pretty good at video games. I mean I could beat him in Halo 2, but otherwise he like beats games in like just a couple of hours. Idk....he isn't a skill horder...but you aren't the only one out there that just can't pick locks...

Dude I just stubbed my toe today! I was...well nvm...nothing out of the ordinary...or was there??!!?!?!
Also I heard they can't do anything for a broken pinky toe, just stay off of it and it heals...no cast or anything...
Well like I think that reading is great and all. But like sometimes you just have to do it. It seems really easy in guides, tension and lift pins until you hear/feel them click. It isn't that easy really. Idk...maybe it is just me and my pretty much sucking at lockpicking.

hay, maybe this is just off-topic, but i tried all the things you tried dude.
And for the lockpicking part, I too think it is hard even more if you don't have a mentor( like me)
so just keep on trying and maybe you will get it, maybe you won't.

It must make things a little uncomfortable whenever you wear any type of shoes.

I feel if you are looking for that skill level than learn single pin picking or impressioning. Im the same way, i can show someone how to rake a schlage 5 pin 4 spooled lock open that has no experience within minutes, but when it comes to telling them about single pin picking, it's better to teach with them disassembling a lock and picking one pin at a time, as i found thats the best way i've learned. I feel raking is quick and efficient but single pin picking is where the excitement is for me.

Thats where you also can begin to seperate the criminal minded from those who truely are interested in locks and how they work and to open them through analytical means.
Those up to no good in their hearts will want to learn how to rake open locks quickly but is hesitant about learning how to pick locks the slow and methodical way.
