I'm not sure about handles being for sissies...
but they are definately for people more motivated than me.

I don't have handles because I'm too LAZY to make them!
but, just to NOT be a sissy... I think im gonna make my next
set of picks from straight razors...minus the handles.

hold at the tip.... grind down the hinge for the pick tip.

I hope this makes me a manly man.

Please ignore the comment made that brass is the best material for picks. I sure some illicit substances were involved in writing that. As for handles, heat shrink tubing that electricians use works great. Or their is a product called "plasti dip" that is just liquid plastic you can dip the picks into and it will make nice handles. If you want thicker handles just dip them several times.

I was serious when I said: "Brass is the best pick material"

But you guys obviously have your own opinion, fair enough!

I was however J/K about the sissy thing!

:D

Before you pick a lock:
The first thing that you should do is check to make sure that
the lock is your's and secondly make sure its not in use.

If you just head down to your local council depot you should be able to scrounge a ton of street sweeper blades, your dremel should make short work of them, finish with a chainsaw file and you've got a pretty decent set of custom picks.
