So your saying that I can't pick "my" own front door legally? Its my door, why would that be illegal?

It's not illegal. It was a little joke, we always tell everyone do not pick locks you rely on. You can damage them if you don't know what you are doing. :wink:

there is a post on here where some guy picked his apartment lock or something and ended up having to hacksaw it off because he ruined it i cant find the thread right now but i'll put it up in a minute

I think that was a joke. because around here we have a saying DO NOT PICK THE LOCKS THAT YOU RELY ON.

anyways my aunt got a ticket for "poaching" when she stopped to take pictures of deer... in her pajamas... while her kids were in the car in texas so if the state troopers get uptight about that they will probably not just let you go free. :lol:
