I'm a new student at foley belsaw and would like some information about the training.Can somebody tell me about their experience? Thanks.

Foley-Belsaw was how I got my start and they are nice to deal with.
I don't know about now how they are, but when I was taking their coarse if I had any problems they had a number you could call and talk to a locksmith+[Teacher} on phone for guidance or help. They only supply materials that is needed to complete the coarse, anything else you would want or need outside that you would be responsible for out of your pocket.

I am currently taking the Foley Belsaw course, started it about 2 months ago. I have read posts of how their course is pretty basic, well if you don't know the basics, you can't learn the advanced stuff.

I realized that although I have been re-keying Kwikset locksets for many years, and I understand the basic workings of Pin tumbler locks, I don't know REALLY know anything.

I'm still glad about what I'm learning from the course, and mixed with all the info here, I'm sure to do well.
This is only my third post, cause I'm the FNG here, I did post a hello in the "new member section".

BTW, I'm paying the $40 a month for the course, but will probably just pay it off sooner. Whole course is around $700 US, a little cheaper if buy the whole thing at once. thanks to all you lockies out there, Gadget

Foley was a good choice,Ive took two others,I think it was the better.They are pricey on the supplys ,their good till you get set up with other accounts.It was worth the money for me, good start.

I plan on taking this course myself sometime in the future. I just don't have the means at the moment. When I do I will post my thoughts as well.
