Pick set question

Postby torturedsol » 13 Aug 2007 20:18

How are you guys and gals doing.

I ran across this website looking for the book that was supposed to come with my pickset. It was purchased from a Snap-On dealer last year and didn't have a book with it. The fold out leather case says "Grand Master Lock Pick Set LPK 620."

Yes, it is a automotive pick set.

I've googled and looked on here to see if there was a link to a PDF copy of the owner's manual but haven't had any luck. Maybe someone with this set might shed some light as to where I could get a copy of the manual.

I have the booklet, but i'm not willing to scan and distribute it.

You may have better luck contacting your local Snap-On distributor and inform them of yout situation and try to straighten it out properly.

I have the book to that set because it is what I use everyday.
What type of info are you looking for with-in reason that I can answer here without being out of text or advanced info thats in the book?

In this particular case, it's not advisable to share any information in that book in the open forums due to it's advanced nature and revolves around Advanced lockpicking tools.

IMO, we're better off not going any further than this.

I can understand that. I had the book with mine then it some how got screwed up when I was moving from DC over here to WV.

I've used my set quite a bit over the past two years I've owned it. Also like the fact it had all the standard picks as well as all the auto picks. I'm just a little anal rententive about having all the boxes and the books that go with all my tools lol.

Guess I'll drive an hour up the road to the shop the local Snap-On dealer parks at and see if he can get me a replacement booklet

Glad you came up with a solution to your problem.

However, please go back and read our rules. Trying to not only get advanced info in the public forums, but to also try to get your hands on a pirated version of the book that was supposed to come with your pickset? Neither are cool.

PM me if you have any questions. No worries on this crap though, looking forward to your next posts and welcome to the forum.
