need help mith master #3

hello i have a small problem.... i bought a brand new master #3 about 30 min ago, opened it with key "worked fine", then i took the 2nd key and filed it into a bumpkey. tested it on the lock and it worked great.. did it about 3 times with no problems, about 10 min after that i tried it again with the original key and it wouldn't open! then tried the bump again NOGO!

any ideas?

Hrm... if the original key no longer works, then it sounds like at least one of the pin stacks has been damaged (or you've somehow jammed a spring above the plug). Without being able to look at the lock, I'm not sure there's an simple solution to what you're describing.

I think picking the lock with the uncut wiper blade may have jammed a pin stack for a moment. Good method though, I'm gonna try that too.

Okay... glad it's working for you! From a quick look at your YouTube video, it sounds like at least one of the pins may have been scratched/deformed by the rather aggressive picking/bumping. I suspect that it was simply jammed above the shear line.

On a side-note, your sig is a bit offensive if you're going to be hanging around here, asking for the "stupid people on this forum" to help you.
