Darn - It's a great day when something like this gets posted on this site. :)

It's still vulnerable to a simple attack, but it would frustrate poorly thought-out attacks.

If you made the front of the lock spring loaded so the key had to be pressed in against resistance, it could be tricky to open, and would be more resilient to other attacks. :)

Oh wow - This thread has put a smile on my face - well done. :P

Oh Illusion, you're making me blush :oops:

Off subject, I realise why half the pics on the forum don't show up; my school's proxy blocks photobucket :evil: so I don't quite know what was in the other thread.

Back on subject, if anyone could get their hands on one and post pics (maybe also post a copy on imageshack.us for me <prettyplease>?) that'd be excellent.

Even more excellent, my D&T teacher might be able to lathe a hull and cam for me for a prototype (is it a prototype if it's already been invented?) so with any luck I might be able to make a dodgy version and post pics as I go, thus proving how easy it would be to construct :)

Please excuse the double post, but I am crushed...

Just found a proxy-bypass that works, and went back to the original thread, and... The picture in the first post is *identical* to my idea of what the key for my lock would look like...

<wails inconsolably>

Is this still worth developing or do I resign myself to the fact that it is already commercially marketed?
