New locks for my collection - I'm so excited...

Today I found my personal deal of the month on the local flea market:

Two sample sets from DOM and BKS, a KABA quattro and some Zeiss Ikons...
I'm so excited, had to tell you immediately

And these are my new toys:



And that's inside the BKS box:



2 locks (apparently something like the 31 and 33SL series - http://www.bks.de/fileadmin/Produktpool ... ierung.jpg ) and 4 keys.
The left lock doesn't have a sidebar and accepts 2 keys, the right lock (the cutaway) has the sidebar and accepts only keys with the side millings, and a 4th key with wrong millings is included as well.

The DOM samples:




Inside I found 2 DOM Diamant (with different housing materials), 1 ix10KG, 1 ix6KG, 1 ix5HT, 1 RS6 and 1 RS5.

Nice find, congratulations. Just curious, do you know the significance of the name MUSTER on the locks and keys? I have a DOM System D cutaway which has the same name on its keys. The etching even appears to be identical judging by your quality photos.

"MUSTER" roughly translates to "sample". These locks aren't meant for usage, but for showing customers how they work. If you have a cutaway with "MUSTER", it sure is factory-made for presentation.

That looks like a Dom Diamant in there - not a cheap lock. Also the BKS with the dimples on the key is interesting, I haven't seen one of those before.

I didn't expect it either. Kind of a once-in-a-lifetime thing...

There are 2 DOM Diamants in there, one with the steel housing and one with a cast housing.
Unfortunately the samples of one lock type are all keyed alike, so they are not really usable say in my front door.
Might become nice cutaway projects though.

In Canada, they don't sell anymore Dom's if you want one, you wait 6 dam months to have one, and the price is sssssooooooo expensive, my eyes dropped down when i saw the price that a locksmith told me!
