Somebody posted a "new" style of shim on a forum I peruse (martial arts related) and I got is permission to post them here. What do you guys think - is it an improvement or a fashion disaster?

Doesn't look like a major difference from the conventional style shim to me. Handle is a little bit different, but... I guess... so what? :)

Pretty neat - I think the handle might seriously struggle when facing something like the big Tricircles, however.

I might give it a go later - I'm not feeling too great this morning.

its big, its soft aluminum so it wont work for long, if it works, then its ok.
