I don't think any of us here will be able to adequately explain a problem that LockpickShop.com has with their shipping calculator. I'm led to believe that they have excellent customer service: I would either give them a call (+1-978-441-9595) or contact them via the LivePerson link on their website... you should get a fast answer to your question.

At this stage I would not order an envelope from them till they get their act together !
I give credit where credit is due, and right now they have two unhappy customers on this site, that's two too many in my books.....

The top-right corner of all of their pages has a button labeled "Questions? Please leave a message >> powered by LivePerson". I'm not sure if the link changes from time to time -- so it might be safer to click on it directly from their site -- but the URL is presently:

LockpickShop Live Chat

I have no experience with this shop, so I can't speak to their customer service.

Hey guys..

The "Live Chat" is not live. It will ask you to fill in your email and your question. I'm guessing that it simply forwards over that form in the form of an email.

Just an FYI.

I should state that the 3 times I tried the Live Support option it was not live. It could very well be live when someone on the PC. I'm not sure though. Didn't want to mislead anyone.

You're probably quite right: I'd missed the significance of "Please leave a message", and assumed their customer service was simply closed when I tried. :)

The Live Chat option on LPS only works during their regular business hours. And, it could be that if they're really busy or short staffed, they're not manning that at all right at this moment.

But it has definitely worked in the past, but it's always been during normal business hours (for them, think about timezones).

Cheers,

db

Yeah, that's why I posted the second part of my statement. All 3 of mine were during normal business hours.

Chances are that if they are busy it defaults to the leave a message state.

Well, i dont know what timezone you're in, but where i am its Saturday. Most likely they have the live service from monday to friday. Have a little patience, you seem over eager and its only been 1 day.
