Homebrew questions

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

What kind of person takes 10-15 seconds picking a door, in public, with teachers and other students are looking at you. I think the slow and calm method is good only for home & entertainment purposes only. While the brutal way is the fastest (depending on luck) to do in public. You don't want to be caught picking a door in public, now do you?

Why are these important factors if according to you the act is not illegal?

Breaking and entering is B&E whether you take something or not it is the act of illegally entering a locked premesis.

The fact that this guy is thinking about, or has commited such a worthless crime.

OR...

The fact he openly advertises it on a forum that has a big ethical foundation of not picking locks that are in use, or are not in yout possession.

OK, no offense but first of all, it's not a crime but it is worthless. Second of all, i wrote that "in public" thing on purpose. Moronic, yes. Accidental moronic, no!

Uh, be honest, am i starting a fire war here, maybe trolling?

I take that back what i said. I'm not sure if it's legal or not in my country. When i thought about it it is really annoying. Sometimes i get confused between sins and crime.

Oh, and since when is entering a classroom call "B&E". If a house, it is. But a school?

I was just thinking that. We would have a 7 page report on how and why hes wrong with no punches pulled on what he thought of the guy by now...

This thread started out quite harmlessly but has now evolved in name calling and affronting behavior. Yes, a 7 page novel from Shrub would be nice to read but would indeed be pointless in the since that this guy thinks it is alright to act in opposite of what this site encourages, because he does not know the law in Indonesia. This says that he feels no remorse for what he does and does not care to investigate whether or not a criminal act is being commited for the sake or being uncomfortable.

To me it seems there is no changing his attidude. He feels he is in the right of entering a locked premises without authorization simply because it would be cool to his peers and surrounding spectators and being uncomfortable sitting outside until someone that has access comes and let's them in.

This in my point of view aswell as other members is against what we strive and commit to teaching others about this hobby and trade. It is against who we are and what we do. What you do is your own business, but please do not bring your ill intentions here.

I am locking this for now. If another Moderator feels it necessary to unlock it or share their voice, feel free to do so.

I agree Kaotik, it was definately time to lock this thread.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!
