SO-tubular pick is too thick?!

I got a SouthOrd 7pin tubular (new model) pick but I have a little problem with it.. Ive noticed that the pick is simply too thick to fit in to some locks.. (Kryptonite Plus for example) So i was wondering is there some other brand that would be thinner than SouthOrd..

Have you tried contacting South Ords regarding this.

Anyone got a few different types which they can post the measurements. Can you post the measurements for the lock in question.

I know that there are a number of different sized tubular key blanks (Two?) to correspond with a certain sized lock, hence the diameter of the pick must be accurate.

e.g. One key has an outer diameter of 9.5mm, inner 7.9mm and another outer diameter of 10.1, inner 8.4. Personally, all the tubulars I've picked, the SouthOrd pick fits fine.

If you have a look on Lockpicks.com you'll notice that they sell Normal sized and 'Small bore' picks. You may need the smaller.

I have the same problem with my tubulars i have both a 7 pina nd an 8 pin tumbler pick, i believe all i need to obtain is a tumbler pick for the smaller core, perhaps its just something kryptonite did to perhaps change thair locks a little, i have only ran into this on both my disc locks for my motorcycles.... not to mention the price for these tubulars is upwards of $45....

Can you post the measurements for the lock in question.

Sorry but I dont have any "device" that would be accurate enough to measure the lock.. But its very annoying couse the key hole is just a liiiittle bit too thin for the pick ... Do u think I could grind the pick just a little? -or is it just going to **** it up =).. I also looked that "small bore pick" and it looks quite nice actually =).. But couse of my bad english I didnt quite understand the ordering methods on that site (lockpicks.com).. I found this line from there site:

so does this mean that I can order the pick and pay for it in my local post office when it arrives?
And does "Wire Transfer" mean that I can transfer the money via internet? (from my bankaccount to lockpicks.com:s account)

A money order is sort of like a check- you send it to them and once they get it they will send you your picks.

wire transfer means that it gets transfered via a wire, a bit like the internet is connected by wires (well before wireless networking) It really is a bit of a slang term for transfering money between computers/banks.

Umm.. So Wire Transfer means that they send me their bankac. number and other nfo, then I can transfer the money to their account via internet and they will send me the goods ..right?
Just a simple "yes" or "no" for the answer

Or kinda like Western Union... you go to a Western Union location, give them the money, a fee, and the information of the person who gets the money, and they put it in their computer system ... then the person, where ever they are goes to a Western Union in their town and collects the money.
