Master No.1 - security pins?

I have 6 practice padlocks, and i'm 99% sure 5 of them don't have special pins, however I can't be sure with my Master No.1

Does anyone know for sure if a Master No.1 has security pins? If so what kind and typically which pins?

I can pick all my padlocks, even the Master No.1, but it seems to exhibit signs of having security pins. It is the master lock on the top, although I do have 2 others that are master brand (smallest and combo) they are just as junky as the no name ones with them in the picture.

dont think so, usually master locks have spool pins, and usually it states on the site if they have them or not...

Can someone suggest a bunch of locks that are very difficult to pick?

Which would be better: master 6100 or 6200 series?

I want a challenge, not something i can pick in less than 10 seconds!

Go and get a I-Core padlock or a deadbolt or something you can re-pin and try throwing in a few spools and a mushroom, I have a 6 pin Abus 83/45 with 3 spools and a mushroom took me about 10 minutes to pick the first time but I have improved alot and can now be picked in about 5 very good fun and try not to have all high sets (or low) try to have a mix as it makes it a bit harder...not much but hey....Well have fun...Oh and if you dont have any pins to re-pin with go and but a few deadbolts that say Anti pick and stuff like that you can usually get a few out of them....

Speaking of I Core, try and find a SFIC, some can be quite a challenge

Allright. I have a no. 1 and it is the easiest thing in the world to pick. I know the proper torque, and I just slide the pick in and BOOM! its open.

SO what do you think about security pins?
