That is a beautiful tool. I would be too afraid that I would tarnish and damage them to even use it.

Not my apprentice, but he does use my work as inspiration in creating his own. Though that pick does resemble my Tech 1.0 version with the progressive holes that you like doesn't it?

Charlie511, I know it's different than my version and I respect that you showed the consideration to changed it up a bit in order not to duplicate it. Never-the-less, you did a wonderful job on it. Maybe we could do a trade in the near future?

Looks very similar to the one I made that is not posted here, but mine has a really sharp point on it. I'll try and get a photo of it so you can see.

The important thing to remember with extractors is the thickness of the material. Thinner is better. Probably explains why extractors are sold more often than picks.

I use my spiral extractor most often because it winds down beside the profile and leaves room to lift blocking pins or discs with another hook pick.

It is probably the most useful extraction tool I've got.
