mit guide?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

It's one of the best guides on the web, I'm currently using it to learn lockpicking, and once you've read it 4-5 times, you should know what to do. Unfortunately, I'm still stuck on the tool-making stage so I can't help you any further than giving you the URL ( making tools is a pain).

First of all, reading an arrangement about lockpicking 4-5 times isnt gonna make you be a pro picker....you could read it 1000 times and still not be able to unlock the simplist of locks. And Secondly YES, making lockpicks is a pain...lol
