These Brinks padlocks do in fact have security pins, but the security varies from model to model. I can't remember the specifics, but if it's just a small laminated padlock I would imagine it won't give you much trouble.
If you are able to get a false set, you've already done most of the work
From that point, first be sure that your pick is not touching the tension wrench because that can cause problems later on.
Maintain very light tension. Feel for stiff pins. As you lift, see if the tension wrench starts to rotate in the opposite direction of the tension you are applying. It's subtle, but you'll feel and even see it. Let off of the tension just a TINY bit and lift the pin, and then immediately go back to your normal light tension. Repeat this process will all of the "stiff" pins and youll have the lock open in no time.
