Master Lock Picking?????

Postby Mastermind Pm » 9 Oct 2007 19:33

:) hey ive been wanting to pick locks for a while now and i was just wondering

could you anyhow take a regular Master Lock Key and file it down or something so that it could open any Master Lock :?: :?: :?:

I always thought it would be awesome to be able to do that

and if not is there an easy way to crack a master lock quickly and without a lock pick set?

Thanks and please use good details

Not really. The point of this site is that it takes skill to pick locks - skill which you could certainly develop if you read around the site a bit to see where to get started.
Once you have a pick set and some practice locks, well - practice, practice, practice.

No Mastermind, that is just not possible, it only works in the movies!

No Mastermind, you'll need a lock pick set to open
a master lock, there is no other way!

:D

Before you pick a lock:
The first thing that you should do is check to make sure that
the lock is your's and secondly make sure its not in use.

it would be a very bad thing if you could have 1 key that opened all of them. also, it wouldnt make much sense.

however, something quite similar to that is known as a "bump key" but thats something that has gotten out of hand, and you'd be better off sticking to learning to pick :) its more fun anyway.

Why? If asked me, the OP is not going to use these for good. Master locks + easy access + the info that Master locks are used extensively on lockers = no info from me.

You can make the key you have into a bump key. Personally I think its easier to actually pick a Master lock.
