My first homemade picks

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Just wanted to share this with you guys and seek some opinions of you more experienced pickers. This was my first attempt, not sure how i feel about them.....they seem to work pretty good.

did you make them out of hacksaw blades?
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

yes, there are made from hacksaw blades

Looks good, but be careful with that longer hook, it looks
kinda thin in the curve, might snap if too much pressure
is used. Over time it may wear out even in light pressure.
(I snapped one thicker than that... but I was in a rush)
but overall........ cool.

I usualy make mine shorter though .....
I can make 4 picks out of one blade.
(5 if Im feeling crazy)
A cheap pack of 10 blades at the 1$ store makes 40 picks.

If you want longer handles, you can make em from wood or something.

i agree i snapped 2 hoook picks of coarse i made them in a hurry su they werent my best work bud make sure they arent too thin
