I guess everyone knows already that the LP101 search function isn't working. This also means that I can't tell if someone already posted this subject or not, so here it is:

Why are some people's post counters showing 16 odd million posts? A quick look at the LP101 membership table, sorted by number of posts, descending, gives the following:

I made what was supposed to be my 2000 th post. Instead the counter subtracted 800 dropping me to 1200.

its just bugs left over since the database went pear shaped. nothing to worry about. Mine froze for a while.

Well, freakparade... tell ya what I'll do. You feel free to create a thread in GC and post 800 separate, yet equally random posts, and I'll be happy to remove it to the trashcan, thus retaining them in your post count.
