What are the laws concerning lockpicks in Indiana?

The only place I am sure that having lockpicks with you is considered illegal is in Washington DC. Most other states and places in the country just says it's illegal only if you use them to commit a crime or you are caught with burglury tools under suspicious circumstances.

So to sum it up, don't carry your pick tools with you when you go hang out with your friends and when you go shopping and you'll be ok.

Just curious, why are you sure that's true? I've heard that before, too, but I've never actually seen quoted the law that says that the mere possession of picks in DC is illegal.

Can you cite the actual law in DC? Not to attack you, I'd just like to settle whether this is a ULL (urban lockpicking legand).

Well to be honest I've never checked and know the details but theres a video where Deviant Ollam stated during some sort of hacker convention that the laws in DC are more strict regarding pick tools so I just went by that. If anyone can put more clarifications on the matter I'd like to know.
