Bogota wallpapers! (sorry 56k)

I got bored today so I took a few artsy pics of my homebuilt bogota rake. Thanks Spossum for the awesome street sweeper bristles. So far this is the only pick I have made since I'm quite busy working on my Acura Integra. Enjoy, I hope you guys use them!

That is some amazing camera work! What kind of equipment did you use?

Thanks! The camera is nothing special. It's a mid-range Kodac digital cam. I used a large magnifying glass from a projector and took the pictures through that. Mc-guyver camera setup FTW!

Oh yeah I also forgot to mention I did some Photoshop tweaking, mainly sharpening and color balance. I'm a little tired, sorry.

those are nice, if you do a google search for flickr reparsed, who is a member of this forum, he has some fantastic quality lockpick photos and a bunch of bogota pictures

you really got the sides sanded, but could I suggest that you wrap a piece of sandpaper around a chopstick and get down in those interior curves a bit? your photography is so good that I can see the need for just a few more minutes of hand sanding.

Haha it's already been done raimundo! I thought the pick was smooth (and it was, to the naked eye) until I saw te pictures. I sanded it down right after .

On a side note, I already started making a nice 20-ish set of lockpicks. I will make an effort to build the highest quality lockpicks I can. The handles will not look too pretty, but the actual picks will be flawless. I will post pictures once it's all done! Raimundo, I want to thank you for your contributions to the lockpicking community. You have probably been my number one inspiration source so far. All my picks will share your style of handles.

I agree with "dmux" I think your photos are some of the nicest I've seen since the ones "Reparsed" posted. I'm not sure what happened to him, he hasn't posted lately. I may send him an e-mail. But you should look up his pictures, they were great. Kaotic also takes some nice close ups and sometimes uses a magnifying glass I think. Thanks for the pictures.
