however, BEST ACCESS SYSTEMS locks have another serious vulnerability that is unique to its kind, beyond what's mentioned here, but I'm not going to say it.

thanks guys this by far was the most complicated work i have ever done
but I GOT IT i did sacrifice one more padlock (not the same operating key but the same master key ) to figure out the master pinning it did take three different keys to get it right
to any one else that wants to try this remember
file fit measure repeat repeat repeat

Don't let em fool you. You most certainly can hand file a key for a Best core. Just do it one space at a time. After loading one bottom pin, master wafer, control pin and top pin, use a nail or punch to provide positive pressure and file only a little at a time until 1. the plug turns, and 2. with another blank the core retaining lug moves. Dump (carefully and in order) out that stack of pins and load the next space. As stated earlier, the biggest difficulty will be guessing which cuts are actually the true master.
