New picks. Would they work?

If you want t compare your hacksaw blade pick to what I usually make, take a look at the photos found in here: http://koti.mbnet.fi/einstein/tiirikointi/tiirikanteko/

I can make a set of five picks in an hour from the blade till they are rounded in corners, so just practice :)

Before you pick a lock:
The first thing that you should do is check to make sure that
the lock is your's and secondly make sure its not in use.

Hhhm... this is quite "ghetto" for a lack of better word. If I had to use those, they look like they should work. I can't tell for sure just from the pictures though. The first hook would not work on all locks. I prefer more bend in my hook (I think deeper is the correct term, someone correct me if I'm wrong). This allows me to reach and set those stubborn pins that have to be pushed in quite a ways. It's been said before, but do some serious sanding to your picks, lol.

Yes, I thank everyone for their educational critisizm :) I got alot of posts that helped me alot from alot of helpful people. I will be sure to post any of my questions here again because this is one of the most helpful forums I've ever been to :)!!! Thanks, everyone for your help and I'll try help others to once I learn a bit more.
