I think its pretty much outlawed now (maybe not legally but ecconomically) and replaced with the plastic stuff,

the reson is! stupid people, when stocking/unloading will slice open there hands on some of the types of metal. the edges can be sharp! also, plastic is cheaper, and PVC is pretty strong!

I've used them before and I found them way too soft, they just bend. But you cant reaaly complain when you are getting the materials for free now can you ???

I recently found some old rusty brickstrap alongside the road, and couldn't resist making a slim jim.

Now I'm stuck with it. See, I don't even have a car at the moment. Now when I die, people will think I've been a car thief. Must.. stay... alive...

Well, I recently moved and I now live right next to a huge construction site (New subdivision) and I've taken a stroll or two around there, talked to some of the workers and they said that there employer uses about 5 different kinds of brick strap (i.e. one for wood, bricks, tile etc..)

Just what I have discovered though, they did say I could have the scrap though =D
