Hes going to have his arms either way. i would prefer to take some one on with no weapons rather than some one with 2 spikes long enough to rupture kidneys.

That argument woudl hold no water.

Aright, well, I agree, you could hurt someone with a pick... but can you picture a guy takin over a plane with a lockpick, lmao (yea.. I'm picturing it right now). I'd a lot rather take some guy with a lockpick, then some kickboxer who knows how to pack a punch. But.. that's just what I think, the security guy would probably take another viewpoint at that.
One thing I would watch out for when taking a guy with a pick is... my eyes.

On slightly another thought, bogotas actually look less 'stabby' then commercial bought picks, maybe those would pass off easier.

I answered the question to the best my ability.

You on the other hand didn't, at all.

I suggested that the original poster not attempt what I had done should they not wish to invite trouble. The original poster therefore has a choice with all the information present from both sides of the 'field'. Your post had nothing to contribute, and more so didn't answer the question in any way.

Now get off your little ivory tower of judgment, or perhaps you could even try answering the question - now gee, isn't that a funny idea! Instead of coming up with something constructive you could just state the obvious and contribute nothing useful - What a splendid idea!

Now sod off, or actually answer the question.

And to think people wonder why nobody bothers to help others on this site anymore...

HAHAHA I love that answer.

I've only taken the plane once in my life and spent the whole time looking out the window to see if I knew where I was (as I crossed over the US) spent my time spotting airports, saw a field of windmills, etc. So I didn't need to bring picks.

The only thing I had on me hidden was a hair pin on my belt, put the belt through that X-ray and on the way home wore the belt and even the belt buckle didn't set off any buzzers.

(I keep it on me because if worse comes to worse I can always use it as a pick and wrench.) Since I always forget it's there it went to Cuba with me.

Leave the picks at home. Creating a problems at an airport is worst place to create a problems when it comes to transportation. You will likely be dealing with the government on federal level rather than a local level if you got caught pulling this. Best case they would just confiscate the picks and let you go. Worst case you would miss your flight, have to get a lawyer, pay a lot of monies, get criminal record, and be stuck in a foreign prison. I don't know how Japan prisons is, but if they are like Egyptian prisons you rather be somewhere else.

Why take a chance with so many negative things and gain very little positive things?

Sabotage the plane could probably be done easily if one could get access to restricted areas of the plane.
