ATM techs Handmade tool thread

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

cheap steak knives

butter knives are often forged one piece things, a bit too thick for picks so a lot of work has to be put into wasting out so much mass before you come to the pick blank. but cheap steak knives with wooden handles and thin stainless stee blades would make nice picks for the work bench, the wooden handles would tend to over fill a traveling pick case, but you can also take the wooden handles off and make something thinner.
