A thought on Titanium picks...

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

A thought on Titanium picks...

Hi, I would search for this but it doesn't seem to work for me full stop even when I type in something I know exists.
Do any of you have any experience of making them out of titanium and if so did they work well. What's more for a cheap(ish) supply of Ti Has anyone tries straightening out a Ti tent peg made for the weight anal and competitive campers.
I have no experience working with Ti so would be interested if anyone knows anything on this. If not I may have a go and post my finding here. So yeah please tell me.
Cheers,
No-one/Siegel

Just for future searches, while the on site function is broke, use google. Simply type in the search box site:lockpicking101.com and then what you are looking for. An example would be site:lockpicking101.com schlage primus .

That should help you find what you are looking for in the future. I have spoke with the site owner and the search function is something he is now aware is not working so it should be fixed within the next couple weeks. He is a very busy person.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!
