Does anyone know anything about these things? I just bought one at an antique shop. I guess its called a concentric tube lock. There are three pins, held concentrically within one another. Picture an oversized mul-t-lock telescopic pin system, except with three pins instead of two. Does anyone have any info on these? I have almost been able to pick it, but not quite. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

Some info is in my book (click on my signature image). You are right - it is a concentric tube lock, but unlike MulTLock, it has open tubes. It's also a lot older than MulTLock! I think you also get 4-tube versions. I don't think they should be very hard to pick in general.

These really are not difficult to pick. Just apply turning pressure against the pivoting shackle and push the two cylinders and center pin until it turns. The key is symetrical.
