When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Finally got these done! Thanks to mjwhit for the templates forum and Romstar, BazookaMedic, and Exodus 5000 for the great templates. Thanks to Shrub for the pick making guide.I tried a couple of different handles and decided I liked the plasti-dip ones. The solid handles feel nice but I don't have the touch to use them, not that I can really use any of them yet anyhow any-hoo....

I appreaciate the info. Do you guys see anything else I might need in my set?

They're just hacksaw blades. The discoloration is from bad lighting. I would take a close up of the ones in the top left, but I had to borrow a
camera to take those photos. My next project is to make some bagota
picks, Raimundo style! That's assuming of course I can find some street
sweeper bristles. Would a windshield wiper blade work?

Yeah, the handles are plasti-dip. I dipped them three times to get the thickness I liked on the handles.
