Welcome to LP101!!1!!!!

here is the guide i used to make my picks. i use jr hacksaw blades, you can make ur tension tool out of a pen cap clip, street sweeper bristel, and winshield whiper inserts. among other things.

There's too much for us to spoon feed it all to you - just browse around the site, go back a few pages in each forum and read anything that looks interesting.
Make sure you read the stickied threads in each forum - they give newbies what they need to get started.

If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

well today I made a lock pick out of those $1 kid sicsors.(the small kind) I took the two halfs apart and filed the end of one of them down to make it to where it would fit in the lock better and filed some off the sides to make it narrower. It fit in a doorknob keyhole pretty good. I also made a tension wrench out of a bigger size nail. With the tip bent at a 90 degree angle and filed down so it would fit in the lock. Oh yeah The pick type I made was a very simple rake pick. I used a triangle file, but it took a long time. So if you have access to something like a grinder it would be better. The cost wasen't very much. I already had the file, I bought the sicsors for a dollar at family dollar just for that purpose, and I found the nail sticking out of an old board I had laying around. And that is it it took about 2 to 3 hour of filing and to my releif I was done. Although I haven't got a chance to try them out yet I think its going to work. Sorry this is so long.
Thanks for reading this. 007
