Master No.1

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to open a Master No.1 padlock, I've been trying but haven't had any luck. Any tips would be appreciated, even if it means having to call a locksmith

You really havent given us much useful information. I guess that you simply want the lock gone, not that you are attempting to learn how to pick?

If so, your best bet is either a pair of bolt cutters, a drill, or a locksmith.

If you want it broken it shouldn't be too hard if you just hit it hard enough with a hammer or pry it off with a crowbar.

I am trying to pick the lock. I'm just not getting it to turn, I have the tension and am picking the pins, but no luck

Your probably using far far too much tension. Just the weight of your finger should be sufficient.

OR if you are putting the right amount of presure then get a pencil and scrape the carbon out of it ona piece of paper and put some of it into the plug
