I am on lesson 26. I bought a kwikset repinning kit real cheap and have done a couple of residential re-keying jobs. It is worth the money, but your education has to come from many sources. I got a couple of books on residential and commercial knob locks which will help until I am completely familiar with the locks.

WOO HOO!!!!!

Just got the final lesson report card (26-30) and I passed!!! Now on to the other courses like advanced locksmithing, etc. I will let you know how the other courses are compared to the basic locksmithing one but I have a feeling they will be just as good.

Just wanted to share that I made it throught the first set of lessons (1-30)!!!!

Once you successfully complete this course, you'll be eligible to apply for recognition as a provisional member of the Master Locksmiths Association.

Thats from the Site, and it definately is recongnised by the ANZLA because i know a smith in it.

Minus...

I just got the results of the tests. I have not paid in full yet so I won't get the diploma until I am paid in full. If they send a good enough price break to pay the rest I will but otherwise I will continue to pay by the month.
