made my own NICE tension wrench

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

made my own NICE tension wrench

i am a complete lock pick noob attempting to open my sentry 1150 fire proof safe... I was searching around my shed to see if i could find any good material to make a tension wrench out of, viola. I stumbled across these type of staples ive never seen before its hard to explain, i wish i had a picture. They are really long, thin and sturdy enough so they wont bend at all while trying to pick a lock, but not so sturdy that you cant bend them. It was so easy to bend into an L shape, i bent two of the staples that were stuck together and it looks almost identical to the one you can buy offline, just though i would share that

If they are to easy to bend that might be a problem.

Post a picture if you can.

Sounds like shingle or wood staples. I've used shingle staples too, those work good, but they're a little too stiff, and break easily.
