When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.
It sounds like you are looking for a template, if so the last 2 links in the first post both have Deforest picks. There may be others somewhere in the 4 pages of that thread.
I made som picks today including the deforrest pick. Thanks a lot. I like the home made picks better than the pro picks I have. Here's a pic. Sorry about the quality.
Those look really nice, and the scale came out well. Nice finishing too.
Now you have to go and pin some locks with really nasty low-high combinations so you have to use the deforests!
nice job on the picks. but its all about personal preference with picks, I like them in union and ruko locks but you might prefer them in different locks.
Its one thing about this hobby (out of the things ive tried. I assume impressioning will be the same) that I just can NOT do. Its great when we get a new member that has the skill.
