Chubb 114 against 114E

Postby slpc » 13 Jan 2008 15:23

Hello all,

Been picking now for about 6 months, started when a friend found some picks in his sons room, and gave them to me.

Since then I have built up a small collection of tools, made and bought and picking almost everyday.

My question is, I can pick the 114 but have trouble with the 114E, can anyone explain why.

Thank you.

Its a totally different lock. treat it as so. Also it may be the lever combo, change it about in your 114 for practice.

I'm not sure of the name of it. It was given to me from a friend that started up as a locksmith about 3 years ago and went back to the building.

it's ali and has a v groove running down the length with a turning handle at the end. you can use it either way in the lock by sliding the handle down the other end.
