Does anyone know how to go about getting bonded and or insured and what companies are good. Also, would it make sense perhaps to get insurance from a company that also provides roadside assistance/lockout services.
I don't know about the rest of you, but while I was taking the Foley-Belsaw I received an application for The National Locksmith that also included a $15,000 bond. That's one way to do it. I'm not sure about the insurance part though.
I don't think TNL or Ledger offers insurance coverage but they certainly do offer bonding when you subscribe. That in my opinion is the only good thing about TNL.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

As do I. I just ordered the 2006 CD off of their website. I've spent countless hours coming through those old magazines.
I got TNL bond, its just saying you will not make a key, open somebodies ,stuff and steal. I like the mag and all too.most people I open cars for dont call their insurance co, butt they do get their money back from them.May be if you get on a calling list for your area, with your ins co, it wouldnt hurt.I just drop off cards everywhere I go,somebody gets locked out in their parking lot they normally refer them to you.
