master key from cylinder(s)

If you had a six-pin cylinder which was master key-able, how many cylinders would you need to figure out the master key? I am guessing two, but someone else said 6 cylinders. Any opinions on this one?

I think it would depend on how large the master key system is. If its just for a few doors then maybe 2 to 4. If its like a huge building like a school or hospital it might be more. I dont know too much about the subject but thats my guess.

If you have the change keys, it can be as few as one. Depends alot on how many levels of master their are, whether or not its an RC system etc. But its probably much easier to just repin the whole mess.

with just one lock you could but you would prolly wind up cuting three or four possibles depending on many levels are in the sys.

now if you had three or four locks to examine and mapped the cuts inthe lock you would prolly see a pattern and be able to cut most of the master keys as in all the levels
