Anyone know what's up with the search feature? Been trying to find posts about plug spinners but everything comes up no criteria match. Tyoe din kwikset for the hell of it and that even came up no match.
Thanks in advance

I think that should be made a sticky thread, at least until the forum's search feature is fixed. I've had to answer this numerous times already.

I have put the word in with the man and he search function is being looked into. It should be fixed soon. I had no idea it was down or if I did, I had forgotten. Either way, it should be fixed soon.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

So what exactly is wrong with the search feature?

From what I can see, it looks like the search.php is there but it either isn't passing the search keywords correctly, or the post database is not connecting correctly. It shouldn't be very difficult to fix unless something wierd is happening with a conflicting application on the server.

When we have the answer to that question, we'll be sure to fix it. :)

Once again, Mr. Picks is aware of the problem and will fix it when he is able. In the mean time, please use Google to search this site. I'll let you all in on a little secret... Google has a FAR BETTER search algorithm than phpBB ever will. ;) Anybody ever play with Google's advanced searching options? You can slice your results pretty thin, lemme tell ya!

I just found a way to search the site, well kinda. If you are looking for a thread and know who wrote it or posted on it go to the users profile and click on the "see all posts by" button. All of that persons posts come up.
