Security Pin help?

I bought a cheap door knob at wal-mart i think it's mountain security, i'm not sure. But i think pin 5 the furthest in the back is a security pin or something, when i feel it bind and i lift it i feel counter-tension on my wrench...
i'm not sure what to do i think it's what's keeping me from tackleing this lock.

It is very unlikely that lock contains any type of security pin. try using lighter tension

is a spool pin considered a security pin?

A spool pin is a type of security pin. What leads you to believe that you have a spool pin? Also, is it possible to remove the cylinder?

Yes, a spool pin is a security pin. I have never found one in a mountain security lock yet. That does not mean they have not staered adding them recently. Try this, if it's a spool pin when you pick it you will feel the plug turn back a few degrees. Ease off the tension a bit and keep pushing up on the pin. it will slip past the shear line and the lock will open.
