Search function malfunction

Hoi!

Search is not working for me. Cookies allowed, made lp101 an security exception and such, no avail. This occurs both on IE and Firefox, cant use other browsers. Fiddled with search parameters and entered keywords such as "a", "lock", "key" etc.
What ought I to do? I'd really like to use the search function, really

The search function on the site does not work. The best way to search the site is to use www.google.com if you click on "advanced search" you can use your search term for lockpicking101.com only.

The Search Function sticky has some additional suggestions. As a short-cut, you can put "site:lockpicking.101" at the end of your Google search string.

A complete aside, but doing searches for "filetype:pdf site:_____" or "filetype:doc site:_______" can yield a lot of interesting material; I've found it's a good way of finding lock manufacturer's service guides, pinning manuals, etc. (which aren't always indexed in an immediately-obvious way from their homepage).
