Has anyone piddled with this lock yet? It is a discus style padlock, 4 pins. I've been having a mite of trouble with it, as I can set two pins, but can't seem to set the other two. They never feel like they are binding, so I don't know what could cause that. Any suggestions/insight? Thanks.

I think this lock may have a security pin or two. Try "repicking" the pins youve already picked. If the cylinder rotates towards locked, you probably have spool or mushroom pins.

if they are anything like the brinks disk style locks they have a very heavy spring on the cylinder which makes it harder to feel the security pins and requires quite a bit of tension. Once

And something Ive found with these locks, it helps to pull the shackle to the right until it stops before attempting to pick.

I own one of these locks. I'm not sure about any security pins, but I find mine pretty easy to pick. It's fairly close to high-low config too... takes be 4-6 to pick it consitantly. My record is under 40 seconds and other times it's taken me nearly 15 minutes. This is one of my favorite locks to practice on.
