I still don't understand. Why don't you just hold out your hand and let the customer put cash into it? Totally ignoring S&S's procedure.

In some cases (domestic calls) id have to agree with you but most of the time you are dealing with insurance jobs, where the end customer is not expecting to pay as they already pay their insurance premiums,or big corparate customers who have contracts with the likes of Sand S.
In an ideal world wed all get paid on completion but as we all know this is not usually the case.

Centurian Locksmiths Ltd

Postby milner » 1 Dec 2007 7:28

It appears many hard working locksmiths have not been paid by this company; Centurian Locksmiths Ltd.

But which Centurian Locksmiths have you been dealing with?

There are three businesses in the Hull area registered or trading as Centurian Locksmiths !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do I hear the alarm bells ringing?

Where has our money gone?

Here are some addresses:

Centurian Locksmith Ltd
524 Hessle Rd
Hull
East Yorkshire
HU3 5BQ

Centurian Locksmith Ltd
15 Weldon Rd
Altrincham
Cheshire
WA14 4EJ

Centurian Locksmith Ltd
The Barn
Main St
Hotham
North Yorkshire
YO43 4UD

Centurian Locksmith (UK) Limited
6 Silver St
Hull
HU1 1JA

Centurian Locksmiths Ltd
Rectory Farm Barn
Rectory Lane
Hotham
North Yorkshire
YO43 4UW

Centurian Locksmith Ltd
Melton Court
Gibson Lane
Hull
HU14 3AJ

And here are some of the telephone numbers used:
01619283059 fax
08700840195 fax
08000747119
01482588111
07983437984
07976246254

Dave Yeoman appears to have links to all of these business's.

Two are registered UK companies and one is a basic Non-Limited Company.

A winding up order is pending. To be heard in Manchester 10/12/07

Do you have any further information?

If you are a creditor, it would be in your interest to register and attend the hearing, to prevent a quickie re-open Monday voluntary liquidation which appears to be what they are going for.

That is pretty much the 1 year anniversary I did the job I am waiting to be paid for!. I wait... probably at the end of the queue, to get paid. I may call the customer who i did the job for and tell them they were not the only one done up like a kipper that day....but life goes on

I have 2 invoices not paid, one 05/01/07 and one 20/02/07, been through courts online to the stage of issuing a warrant but all the bailiff found at their Essex address was a mailbox so they were unable to recover anything. Then, days later, administration.
