What is the Best pick brand?

Ok, ok, everyone quit their arguing because I have the definitive answer here. I really don't think it's up for debate.

I don't know what brand it is, but I think the pick which is the hands down winner of the "Best Pick" title is the sonic screwdriver. Sadly, they are out of production now, because I believe they were only produced on the planet Gallifrey One, which has since been destroyed by the Daleks during the Time War.

Rare is the day that The Doctor can't open any lock, be it electronic or mechanical, with his trusty sonic screwdriver.

Also mate, with the petersons, how does the spring steal perterson tools hold up? Is it thicker or the same as there spring steal?

I ask because I may yet purchase the smallest spring steal kit to have a go.

Just wanted to clarify as it is only text on a screen that no insult ws intended towards you.

I didn't take it as an insult, I take it as a valuable opinion. The spring steel holds up nicely, I would say the flex is very similar to HPC, but it is the handles that I enjoy better for the way I grip picks. The stainless steel have less flex and are more durable from what I have found. I usually hold my picks like a pencil so I prefer a handle that is rounded on the edges over square like HPC and other brands.

I understand your opinion and see your point. I have owned many brands of picks and purchased multiple pick sets from Peterson, stainless, spring steel, slenders etc. I am just giving my opinion because this is just an opinionated question. There isn't a real definitive answer as I used the car example.

I don't think think this as an argument but a sharing of different opinions and thoughts from a valuable source of different people from around the globe. "I still want a set of LPN picks", and no I am not a retailer of any products. I just happen to buy a lot of stuff when I see it. I also collect pick sets like people collect stamps or whatever people collect.

I suppose the posts could sound like an argument like guys who discuss what is the better truck, Ford, Chevy, or Dodge? Then you have the guy talking about Toyota's, Nissan, and the Comanche.

ohh don't even ge me started on the car talks.

I think betweem myself a Camaro buff, and thent he mustang lovers.. or pony boys we exaspirated every argument possible, and yet still nothing.

That car remark gave me a good laugh, as it's true just like when I was in general contracting, is it dewalt or hitachi? Then the saying comes in "We are but only men".

Petersons- are crap in spring steal, there thick, and take to much time to finish to a good standard. Never tried there stainless, but for the price.. I will just make ones that will walk all over them.

HPC's- are okay, again I have the spring steals there OK, after sanding, not near as much as petersons.

Southord- can't complain, good price, picks need sanding but there good, there tubular picks suck though.. there made of brass be mindful.

Lockpicktools- They spam youtube, there grips look uncomfortable, but they are cheap so people will buy them.

Falle's- OVERPRICED your paying for the name and Burs to go with them.

All comercial tools are good becuase there cheap they end. But sand them becuase yes they will rip a lock apart.
Homemade tools are for serious or skilled manipulators, why? Because they understand what lengths it takes to make them, and why those lengths are taken.
