React Fast

This is the old Locksmith business info area and will be broken down to fill in the new sections below.

React Fast

Has anybody else had a letter from React Fast with regards current work levels and the way they plan to allocate work in the future.

I've heard they they have dramatically cut their rates and that they plan to send a text message to all locksmiths in the area to inform them they have a job. They are then going to allocate the job on a first come first served basis.

I've not had the letter myself but I don't do much work for React Fast.

Does anybody know what rate they are now offering?

Do you work for all the National companies?

So far thats Able, and Reactfast.

Both at what, 40%? minus you CIS tax at source (-22% ?)

But charging £64/hour plus VAT plus parts (at around £48 for a euro cylinder, plus VAT again).

If less people worked for them, then they would cease to be a viable company and close, leaving more work for the rest of us.

Food for thought.
It's all about the tension . . .

The more you work for them, the stronger they will become in your area and make it harder for you to compete in the future.
Far better to find your own work and build your business that way.

I agree with every one on here, STAY WELL CLEAR.

You will get shafted, Another to avoid is Keytek/ Absolute Emergencies.

There is plenty work in the U.K, you just have to work hard to get it.

Why do a lock out for £20.28 before diesel costs for them, when you can do your own for £65.

You have to do 3 of thier jobs to every one of your own.

I have started a group called The Keymasters, we are getting lots of work from the agencies, this was from some clever advertising in the yellow pages.

Any one wanting to know more message me.

Dont work for any of them they are a bunch of wankers and all who have set ap there operations after working for them are even worse. As they preach what they have preyed on the eldery, misfits and much more. React Fast, Key Edge, Absolute Emergancy's are about the worse Rip of Merchants and Cowboy's about sums them up Locksmiths they are not cowboys they are £47.93 for a £1 shop lock is there trade mark and don't forget to add the vat!!
There is always a solution to a problem and a way in without destruction !!!!!
