The famous Han Fey from Netherlands sells one of his best pieces, look at that:

That's a pretty good lock, but not the best that Han Fey has.

Its on ebay.com too at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0198140800

What is most interesting is that fact that is is a han fey engineered cutaway. He drew up the plans for it himself and each side allows you to see the full workings which is pretty pimp.

With these auctions, I sometimes like to look at the list of bidders - check out the stuff 'novanix' bought... That must be a pretty impressive lock collection, too :)

They must get a pretty impressive pay check every week too to be able to afford all those locks. One of these days I hope I can slow down on buying locksmith tools for work I NEED and be able to buy the locksmith tools and locks I WANT for fun.

Not that much of an elaborate cutaway in my opinion. Still very nice though.

Have you seen better cut positions on a Protec? Would you by chance have pictures?

There's not many other ways you can cut it any differently because of the mechanics of the lock. Its just I thought it being referred to as 'amazing' & 'beautiful' is a little OTT.

I've got an Abloy 330 Classic pad being machined as we speak.....should be back next week all nicely cut away. I'll upload pics when I have it back & its re-assembled.

Seems checkin out who else bid on the item is going away now too
Soon we will no longer display the complete user IDs of people bidding on any auction-style listing. Instead, we'll use asterisks such as x***y to protect our members' identities. Sellers will continue to see complete user IDs on their listings and the winning bidder's ID will be visible to everyone after the auction ends.
