Hi, everyone. I'm a programmer and author from Ohio that learned locksport from Deviant Ollum at Defcon 15. Love it. Looking forward to being an active participant.

Hello everyone. I am a bit new to lock picking, but I have plenty of experience with computers and white hat hacking, as well as hardware hacking, so expect me to read on what I say before I talk. I am sure that I get as frustrated with "noobs" as anyone else, so I would rather just read up, spend some time researching, than asking questions that will get me nowhere like "How do I pick a lock" .
Currently, I have successfully unlocked a five pin dead bolt, and a two pin 1100 Sentry lock. My current tools are a S rake, a tension wrench *Naturally* and a pick that has a round end that I am not sure as to how to identify it as. Although, I did just order a set from SouthOrd, so I will have that coming in soon.
Cool thing is, I made the tension wrench from windshield wipers. If you have a set that has gone bad, or just aren't using a spare one, and inspect around a little bit, you will find that there is a thin long slice of metal that is easy to break, sturdy, and can make a perfect poor man tension wrench or pick if you have a grinder.
And that would be my lengthy introduction.
PM me for my YIM! I am interested in anything I can learn.

Well, im a complete newbie to the forums and to lockpicking, but im an amature magician so lockpicking could be a nice feature to add...
Ive tried all the standard stuff with hair pins and paperclips but didn't got the results im looking for so yesterday I made an order from lockpickshop.com with the Slim Line Euro - Japanese Lock Pick Set - 15 pc and TRI-PIK Locksmith Package B (3 locks, 3pin, 5pin and a 5pin cutaway) so if I don't get any better now im giving up on this hobby
And by the way, im from Sweden, so if there are some more swedes here id like to hear from you
