Yep... You have a point, but make sure you have a VERY straight neddle on the end of your pick gun if you do decide to get one; othewise it will ruin your lock. :wink:

I'd concentrate on trying to get a single snap of the gun to set at least a pin or two, and not just clicking madly away. By carefully lining up, and snapping the gun once, you should get at least a pin or two to set if you have reasonably OK tension on the tension wrench, etc. With perfect tension and pressure, you'll probably get quite a few pins to set per click.

I like to use a tension tool at the top of the keyway with a pickgun, so that it is easy to see if you're correctly positioning the needle
