Removing shackle from Best Access Systems padlock

On a Schlage padlock, I can remove the center plug that retains the ball bearings by closing the shackle, then tapping the lock with the core removed.

The center plug falls out allowing the shackle to be removed for replacement with a different type shackle.

The same technique doesn't work on a Best SFIC padlock. How do I remove the shackle on it?

Since you said "Best Access Systems" not just BEST, I assume this is a relatively new model one like a B-Series?

They take a disassembly tool to pull apart, which you can see on the last page of their catalog here:

It would be easy to make one from scratch if you want, but I think they're pretty cheap.
