I'm trying to follow this: http://www.gregmiller.net/locks/disassemble.html

I'm trying to make the back of the lock I'm working on look like the back pm the site but so far, it just looks like this. Sorry for the bluriness.

This is the front, if you need to see it.

illusion's guide to re-pinning a cylinder lock uses the same type of lock as yours, rather than screwing off the back you have to pop off the C-clip:

Just remember the clips location so when you go to put it back on nothing changes. Often times it doesn't matter but on some lock manufacturers, it determines the handing of the lock body. Just a good habit to pick up and learn early on.

good tip beyond, that could explain the sluggish plug in one of mine after re-pinning. Never occurred to me.

Hey KidSnipe is your lock just how it was when you got it out of the package or did you cut down the rod that comes out of the back? Seems a little shorter than what I normally see on kwiksets and schlages.

I often cut mine down to that size on practice locks that I put in a small compartment style tacklebox, if you remove them the pick goes out the back of the plug :x

It comes from a double deadbolt lock so the "rod" or tailpeice has to be shorter. I can tell it's from a double deadbolt because it has the holes for the screws. You wouldn't want those on the outside of a door on a single deadbolt.
